How a University, College, or Institution is Onboarded and Transitioned into AUE
Introduction
The objective is to create a Premier University in the world – a True Global University. This will be done by having the largest possible number of campuses and students, the biggest width and breadth of faculties and study opportunities in the world, and the highest standards of course delivery and examination, using the liberal American system and the 21st-century skills in Education.
It is intended that the AUE will deliver university-level education fully meeting and compliant with the UNESCO Educational Agenda 2030.
The project is to be (a/an):
- · Single University with multiple campuses worldwide
- · American University with American certification/accreditation for all courses and awards
- · American methodologies of tuition delivery and examination
- · Full American accreditation for all courses
- · System designed by world-leading educationalists.
- · Transition involving the supply of tried and tested complete back-office software.
- · A fully integrated University Management System (Software) for Strategic Management, Daily administrative operations, Human resources Management, Student Portal, Instructor portal, Support, courses offering and registration, Alumni, etc…
AUE - New York will usually provide at least 2 additional Schools – If not in existence. These Schools will be in renewable energy and food hygiene, among others as per market limit.
AUE - New York will ensure that the new AUE campus provides the width and depth of faculties to enable education, learning, and tuition to be delivered to the most rigorous American standards.
The process of recruiting institutions into the AUE will be delivered by AUE - New York approved ‘Introducers’ who will be rewarded by a small percentage of the student fees received by AUE - New York.
Naming
Whilst the whole organisation is called the American University of Europe, but, for historical, cultural, or political, reasons, alternate names for individual Campuses, may be advisable or required. Subject to AUE approval, there are no barriers to this, and all such applications, for change, will be considered on its merits.
The introducer has a series of meetings with the University Authorities, Governors, Board, Owners, and stakeholders to Explain the; proposition, process; methodology; and financial issues; involved in transitioning the institution into becoming part of the American University of Europe.
Dr. Akiki must participate in these meetings as early as possible either in person or by online video meeting. He may also involve others from the AUE implementation team.
The introducer and AUE - New York will engage with the above supplying any required information and, where necessary, guiding the decision processes, to the point where the institution abstains or decide to join.
Having decided to join the AUE, the next step is to create, sign, and submit a Letter of Intent to become part of AUE.
The AUE implementation team and AUE - New York become involved and engaged, with the assistance of the introducer, with the institution until the various contractual details are clear and agreed at which point the institution issues a Memorandum of Understanding between the institution and the AUE.
AUE - New York will then create and submit contracts for the transitioning which the institution and AUE - New York will then sign, and the transitioning process may start.
Where the institution is already a running University, or very close to it, the cost to the institution to be paid for AUE for the transition process is zero.
Where the institution is less educationally developed; for example, college, school, or educational institution, of another kind, then the cost to the institution will only be that of the time and expenses of the programming and management staff involved in bringing the systems to the point where the transition can happen.
AUE - New York will advise the institution at the earliest possible opportunity, in the process, as to whether these costs will arise and an indication of what those costs would be.
Revenues will be derived from the fees students will pay to attend and study at this particular AUE Campus. AUE - New York will negotiate as part of the transitioning process the revenue split between the Institution and AUE.
This split will reflect several factors including the wealth and social needs of the environment where the institution is situated. A split of 70% to the University, and 30% to AUE - New York would not be unusual.
The ethical position of AUE - New York is that the poor, disadvantaged, and infirm should be supported in accessing educational opportunities as far as possible and the agreed revenue split will take this into account, in these negotiations.
Once the University is established and starts recruiting students, subject to confirmation, the introducer will receive a small amount per student per annum with the introducer’s backline receiving proportionately less depending on the distance from the introducer.
My present understanding is that this is for the duration of that student’s stay in the institution. It will however continue to be awarded to subsequent students up to the life of the University. And this is based on the standard tuition of AUE. If the tuition is lower this would be affected also.
Via, the AUE - New York , several educational funding opportunities, are available.
For example, an investment of US$25,000, at the birth of a child can relieve him or/and his parents from his university tuitions at AUE or any comparable institution. This will be contingent on the schemes offered by AUE - New York, and the choices of the investors.
If that education were pursued via the AUE, system the place of education could be one or more of the AUE campuses worldwide since the credits are valid across the whole AUE system.
Several other schemes could fund that same child, to Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D., degree level. Details may be obtained from Dr. Akiki
