How we can achieve the migration to a liberal American global university:
1. The name AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF EUROPE – AUE: Brand identity – Spread all over the globe – Students can follow the same program with the same quality while hopping around the world and being acquainted with different cultures, enjoying also travel experiences.
- Some campuses might have more facilities than others (Sports facilities in India-namely cricket/golf terrains)
- Exchange of professors: Motivate them – Upskill them – Work smart and not hard.
- Internationalization at home: For the local students who wish to have an international degree while at home… (Fewer travel expenses and less hustle)
2. Full System/Software: Our University management system and software, which is the fruit of intense labor, tuning, and refinement, will be put at the service of all our campuses. This UMS and management system is fully equipped to accompany the venture. This system is not only very expensive but also tailored to the specific needs of our university – administration, and students.
3. Updating the administration and managerial linkages: We will update the current existing administrative staff to the new modus operandi by not only developing their skills (where necessary) but also tuning the performance for the global handshake between the campuses.
Also where needed introducing them to our liberal new system of management.
4. Migrating the programs - courses - syllabi – books: We will migrate the existing non-American, non-liberal, or non-accredited programs to the state of the art American liberal and accredited programs. In addition, as we were visiting universities throughout the world, we witnessed the use of local, not validated course materials. In our case, we would make sure that each particular course in any program and school is elevated to the requested level by our quality insurance team and protocol. We are ready to proliferate our existing books (validated) and syllabi to ease the transition.
5. Establishing the relevant routines and protocols: Each university is governed by a set of laws, rules, routines, and protocols. From corporate governance to the student handbook… We will make sure that each unit under AUE follows the new standard of quality management and outcomes. In addition, we will work to establish them with our local partners.
6. Building capacity: We will upskill the current employees – Administrative and Academic- to the new era requirements (21st-century education) and our system; enabling them to perform concurrently with their national and international peers at the same requested standard and level.
-Constant training and development
-Opening for them the research and publications capabilities and possibilities- namely joint international research and proper funding channels.
7. Establishing international linkages and partnerships with relevant institutions: AUE is a partner to a horde of international reputed institutions that the new unit will enjoy being linked with them.
- International famous editors, publication houses, and media…
- Prestigious universities and academic institutions.
-Donors, Sponsors, and research funds
-Accreditors and quality surveyors
- Labor Market and employers
8. Leading the University towards American Accreditation.
Where it applies, we are ready to migrate the whole University toward achieving American accreditation as an institution, of course, based on the American requirements and where it applies.
And even in the worst case scenario where physically there is a huge hindrance we can cover up via other complying campuses (es). And this while adhering fully to the host country’s accreditor rules and system.
